The worst thing is never the last thing

"Something beautiful is on the horizon.  Just keep going."  

Those words once seen on a cheesy bookfair wall poster repeat in my head with every sunset.   Each one a reminder that no mater how difficult a day we face, it can always end beautifully.   As we often say in our church family, "the worst thing is never the last thing."
  

We've been through our share of loss, heartbreak and tragedy and yet we persist holding true to our faith and the vision of what can be, of what is possible.  I often share the stories of my journey after the trip, after the mess has been cleaned up, after I have had time to reflect and share the lessons learned along the way. 

But this, is different.  

It's scary to show behind the curtain, the mess we often hide in the corner while we just happen to photograph our children blissfully playing in the beautifully organized corner.   This?  Well, this will be nothing like that.  

Big changes are on the horizon for our little family and I can't wait to share with you every messy corner along the way!
