Hud the Friendly

It's a simple word, one Hudson learned very early on, but it wasn't until recently that he has discovered its power. Socially, it creates an automatic response. Everyone can understand what he is saying and have an entire conversation with just one word. And so, he says it ALL of the time.

Errands take much longer now days. Hudson finds the need to say "hi" to everyone we see. He doesn't care if they are busy, grumpy, or just plain annoyed. He will repeat it until he elicits a response and even looks to me to join in. Sometimes, it results in a quick huff of a hi from strangers, but the majority of the time, it results in gushes and awws of how sweet and cute Hudson is, which of course my little ham just eats up. Who would think Dan and I's son would be such a spotlight hog? :)

Here, he uses "hi" to distract from what he's really doing (which he shouldn't be). Hudson has learned the power of "hi" is limitless.
