Mother's Day

I was so wrapped up in my "job" that I completely forgot to talk about my very first Mother's day! Our pediatrician gave Dan some very important advice at our last visit. "Don't go too crazy. Remember, this year is setting expectations for every other year to come." Good point doc. For Mother's Day, Hudson was the first to give me a present. He slept for 10 hours! Amazing huh? Then, Dan and I had a lazy morning cuddling in bed with Hud, watching DVR and then my boys made me breakfast in bed consisting of eggs, bacon and pop tarts. (Dan said Hud contributed the pop tarts. :)Silly Hud.)

Thank you, Danny, for making my very first Mother's Day and every day of my life special.

To my boys:

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.” - Winnie the Pooh
