Walking the dinosaur
Poor Huddy has been really sick this past week. He had woken up from a nap with a fever so I stripped him down and let him play. As you know, Hud has been a pretty mellow baby from the beginning with a mama that is constantly at his beck and call. Thus, mobility hasn't always been Hud's thing. Why move? Mom will get it!
We bought his dino a few weeks ago and he loves standing at it and has got him to stand unassisted. He would take a few steps then get bored and go do something else.
Last night, Dan and Matt, our friend helping with the basement, were in the living room with us having dinner. Hud was standing at his dino and Matt was encouraging as Hud took a few wobbly steps. Then the boys left to continue on the basement work.
Suddenly, as if Hud had something to prove, he took off. I had to catch a few videos of my funny naked boy walking with dino.
I'll post more once both of us are better recapping our very first Christmas.
Off to go "huddle" (that's what you call cuddling with the Hud).
