day 5: takin it easy

Thursday we decided to have a low-key day.  We slept in, ate breakfast and Hud and Granddad explored the Marriott property we are staying at.  After a while, Dan and I met up to join the fun and found the boys had played at the park, watched the fish, looked at the boats, and shot some hoops.  We then went together and checked out the activity center and the arcade.
For lunch, we headed back to Sea World.  There we caught the Seamore and Clyde show again as well as checked out the sharks.

As if Hudson hadn't had enough amazing dining experiences, Nana decided to check another off the list: lunch with sharks.  We sat at a table surrounded by the shark tank watching them swim feet from us.  Yet another pretty awesome sight!  Hudson is going to be in shock by our boring dining room when he gets back home!

Wow is right.  Pretty cool. But wait, oh no, that's not even close to the end of our day!

After a nap, it was off to dinner at the California Grill at the Contemporary Disney Resort.  There we dined on the 14th floor.  Breathtaking views of the Disney properties surrounded us and an incredible menu of mouth watering entrees and dessert.  But, the cherry on top of our 3.5 hour dinner experience was the entertainment. (yes, I said 3.5 hours- Hudson is pretty incredible! I'll share my "tricks" in a post to follow).  At 8:00 when the Magic Kingdom fireworks began we walked out onto the observation deck where the soundtrack to the show was played and we viewed the remarkable display from above.  Wow!  Hudson was in awe of the show, being so "up up high" and ohhed and ahhhed at the bright colors and booms.  It truly was  magnificent and yet another memorable night shared.  Just when I think it can't get any better... It does.  What an amazing trip!
